Flying to Canberra

Canberra Airport is an approximate 20-minute drive from the city centre.
Canberra airport has a Domestic and International Terminal and it is serviced by Qantas, Virgin, Jetstar, Rex Airlines, Fly Pelican and Link Airways.

Airport Transfers

Transport Canberra runs ACTION Bus route Rapid 3 with regular services between the Canberra Airport terminal through to the City interchange, Belconnen interchange, Cohen St interchange to Spence Terminus, seven days a week including public holidays. The Rapid 3 route operates every 15 minutes throughout the day (weekdays) and every 30 minutes on weekends.

Getting around Canberra

Tap on and off public transport using a MyWay smartcard, a prepaid ticketing system. The public bus and light rail network it is the convenient and cheap way for visitors to get around Canberra. Buses and light rail services operates every day and it is the cheapest and convenient way to get around Canberra.

Australian Parliament House

“Australian Parliament House” where you can see democracy in action at Australia’s iconic Parliament House high on Capital Hill. Australian War Memorial

 “Australian War Memorial” Australian War Memorial is expanding its galleries as part of a major Development Project to tell contemporary stories of Australian service and sacrifice. All visitors require a free-timed ticket to enter the Memorial Galleries and attend the Last Post Ceremony. Visitors should book their free ticket in advance to guarantee entry.
